One out of eight women will get breast cancer during their lifetime. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among women ages 40 - 55. Early detection is the key to winning the war against breast cancer. The first steps in early detection are education and awareness. BreastFest Philly helps raise money for The Breast Evaluation Center at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The financial support of the Tyanna Foundation, Philadelphia, will enable Fox Chase to enhance their Breast Cancer Research Departments as well as their Survivor Series Program.
