The Tyanna Foundation honors a mother's love and legacy. Tyanna O'Brien died of breast cancer in 1990. Years later, she was honored by her five daughters with the establishment of The Tyanna Foundation.

The Tyanna Foundation is proud to support several annual events which increase awareness and raise money for breast cancer research and medical services. Through your generosity and support, The Tyanna Foundation awarded a gift of $100,000 to The Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy Medical Center to support breast cancer research, services, education, treatment and patient care.

BreastFest Sponsors and committee members presented Sister Helen Amos, RSM, Executive Chair, Board of Trustees and Neil B. Friedman, M.D., F.A.C.S., Director, The Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy with the check for $100,000 on January 10, 2008.
